Open to school children in Grades 3 to 5 whose school has partnered with SowGood. Enrolment is arranged by the school, not by individual families. The programme currently runs in government and private schools across Delhi NCR.

Fee details
Private schools pay a programme fee that SowGood agrees with each school and does not publish on its site. Government MCD schools receive the programme at no cost, funded by donations and corporate partners, so neither the school nor the families pay. Schools should contact SowGood for current pricing.
About this opportunity
The SowGood Nature Connect School Farming Programme is a three year farm based curriculum that SowGood Foundation runs inside partner schools, taking children from Grade 3 through Grade 5.
Facilitators help each class build a working school farm along with a composting and waste segregation unit. Children sow seeds, tend crops, harvest produce and keep farm journals, while concepts from arithmetic, geometry, geography, biology and chemistry are drawn out of the farm work itself.
The curriculum follows a three step philosophy. The first year builds awareness as children plan, design and grow the farm. The second year turns that awareness into daily practice around waste, celebrations and consumption. The third year asks children to carry the practice outward to shopkeepers, neighbours and their own families.
Schools enrol the programme rather than individual families. Government MCD schools are covered at no cost through donor and corporate funding, while private schools pay a programme fee that SowGood does not publish.
