Rules and guidelines
- The performance duration must not exceed 5 minutes.
- Only Carnatic or Hindustani Classical music played on instruments is allowed; film songs are not permitted.
- The only accompaniment allowed is a tanpura (manual or electronic).
- Winners of the previous edition are not eligible to participate, but finalists may participate again.
- A maximum of 5 entries per category are allowed from each school.
