About This Opportunity
The TIMES NIE Spotlight Indian Instrumental Competition is one of India's largest inter-school music contests, presented by the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa) and Times NIE. This national platform encourages young instrumentalists to display their skills in Indian classical and light classical music, aiming to discover and nurture the next generation of musical talent.
Participation is open to students from Grade 3 upwards in Times NIE member schools or SaPa in Schools partner institutions. The competition features two age categories for fair evaluation: a junior group for Grades 3-5 and a senior group for Grade 6 and above, allowing young artists to compete with their peers.
