About This Opportunity
The Uttar Pradesh Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme is administered by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, under the National Scholarship Portal. The scheme covers students from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and General category (Economically Weaker Section) studying at the post-matric level in Classes 11 and 12 at recognized schools and colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
The scholarship provides annual maintenance allowance and reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees charged by the institution. Eligible students must have secured admission through regular channels and must not be availing any other state or central scholarship simultaneously.
Applications are submitted online through the UP Scholarship Portal (scholarship.up.gov.in). Students must submit income certificates, caste certificates, marksheets from the previous qualifying examination, and bank account details. All documents must be verified by the institution before final submission to the district authorities.

- 8Submit the hard copy of the application along with all required enclosures to your educational institution for verification.
- 9The educational institution verifies the application and forwards it to the district authorities.
- 10District Welfare Officer and state-level NIC examine and approve or disapprove the application.
- 11Scholarship funds are disbursed directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the student.
