About this opportunity

The WRC Robo Race Challenge is a premier robotics competition organized by the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA). This event challenges participants to design, build, and race their own wireless robots through a complex track filled with various obstacles. The competition emphasizes speed, precision, and the ability of robots to navigate challenging terrains.

Participants can form teams and must construct their robots according to specific dimensions and weight limits. Ready-made robots are not permitted; only self-made bots or those built using TechnoXian listed DIY kits are allowed. The competition is open to students from schools, colleges, universities, and individuals across India.

Winners receive significant cash prizes, and all participants are awarded a Certificate of Participation from AICRA. This competition provides a valuable platform for young innovators to showcase their technical prowess, develop problem-solving skills, and gain practical experience in robotics and automation.

The event features multiple rounds, including qualifying and final rounds, where teams compete to achieve the fastest time. The track design may vary and includes obstacles like switch bridges, speed breakers, marble pits, and seesaws, ensuring a dynamic and challenging experience for all participants.
