About This Opportunity
The WRC Water Rocket Challenge is a national-level competition organized by the All India Council For Robotics & Automation (AICRA) as part of the TechnoXian World Robotics Championship. This challenge encourages participants to design, build, and launch water-powered rockets, focusing on achieving maximum altitude and air time. It serves as a platform to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in STEM fields.
This competition is open to individuals and teams aged 6 to 30 from schools, colleges, and universities across India and internationally. Participants are required to construct their own water rockets and launch pads according to specified dimensions and safety guidelines. The event emphasizes hands-on learning and practical application of physics and engineering principles.
Participants gain valuable experience in aerospace science and engineering, enhancing their problem-solving and technical skills. Winners receive cash prizes, certificates, and trophies, while all participants are awarded a certificate of participation from AICRA and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. The challenge promotes awareness about the physics of flight and environmental sustainability.
