About This Opportunity
Young Scholars Programme - Innovators in Science and Technology (IST) is a 10-day certified residential programme at Ashoka University designed to ignite scientific curiosity in students entering Grades 9 to 12. The programme emphasises interdisciplinarity, cutting-edge research, and innovation to prepare future pioneers for the evolving landscape of 21st-century sciences.
The programme is open to high school students from India and worldwide who are proficient in written and spoken English.
YSP IST delves into emerging fields such as environmental chemistry, neuroscience, archaeology and biology, physiology, genetic engineering and epidemiology, bioinformatics, quantum computing, astrophysics, medicinal and forensic chemistry. Students participate in research showcases, lab sessions, and innovation modules to gain hands-on experience.
The programme runs at the Ashoka University residential campus at Sonipat, Haryana with faculty mentorship and access to laboratory facilities. Participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the programme.
