About This Opportunity
The Innovation Festival and Western India Science Fair (WISF) is an annual exhibition hosted by Nehru Science Centre Mumbai, bringing together student science projects and innovative teaching aids from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
Students present independently developed science projects, research work, and innovative teaching aids to a judging panel drawn from academic and research institutions. The fair also features pavilions from R&D organisations, live workshops, and science demonstrations, creating a rich environment for scientific exchange.
Typically held in February over three days, WISF is coordinated through regional science centres and state science education authorities. Projects are evaluated for originality, scientific merit, and practical application, with the state-wise best project and the overall best project recognised separately.
