About This Opportunity
The Times NIE Spotlight is a distinguished international vocal music competition organized in collaboration with the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa). This event is designed to discover and nurture musical talent among school students, providing them with a prestigious platform to showcase their skills across a wide range of musical categories, including Indian classical, light classical, and international music.
Participation is open to students from Grade 3 onwards, who are divided into junior (Grades 3-5) and senior (Grades 6 and above) categories. The competition offers significant benefits, including cash prizes, scholarships for courses at SaPa, and mentorship from legendary musicians Dr. L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, making it a valuable opportunity for aspiring young artists.
