About This Opportunity

Unleash your creativity and voice your opinion on global issues in the World of 8 Billion international video contest. This competition invites middle and high school students (grades 6-12 and international equivalents) to create a powerful 60-second video connecting world population growth to one of three key global challenges: Energy, Wetlands, or Economics.

Your video must not only explore the impact of our growing population on your chosen topic but also propose a sustainable solution.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to research real-world problems, develop filmmaking and communication skills, and share their vision for a sustainable future on a global stage.
