About
Kadathanadan Kalari Sangam is a traditional Kalaripayattu school in Wayanad, Kerala, established in 1949 by a group of veteran Gurukkals. After early years in Vadakara, it moved to Wayanad and settled at its current campus on an organic farm. The centre offers structured Kalaripayattu training across all levels alongside yoga, Kalari Ayurveda massage, women's self-defence, and daily demonstration performances. Training follows the traditional progression from body movements to weapon work. The school has trained thousands of students from India and abroad, across a wide range of ages. Its charitable arm also delivers free training programmes for underprivileged children. Led by experienced Gurukkals, the centre is listed on Kerala Tourism's directory of Kalaripayattu training centres and is dedicated to preserving and sharing this ancient martial art.
