About This Opportunity

The 30-Day Advanced Kalaripayattu Techniques Training at Kadathanadan Kalari Sangam offers an intensive residential course for students with prior Kalaripayattu experience. Set on the school's organic farm campus in Wayanad, Kerala, the course deepens proficiency through daily guided practice under experienced Gurukkals.

Daily training covers advanced Meythari body forms, muchan (short stick) and kettukari (long stick) routines, and maypayattu weapon forms. Students who demonstrate readiness may progress to further weapons including the otta, shield, and sword at the Gurukkal's discretion. Training is organised into morning and evening sessions totalling approximately 3.5 hours each day.

The residential setting allows participants to immerse fully in the kalari tradition. Accommodation, homecooked Kerala-style meals from the organic farm, and the guidance of experienced masters are provided throughout the course.
