Achievements, in WiWit
A certificate in a drawer is soon forgotten. Add it to WiWit and it is kept safe, it shows the strengths your child's work already reveals, and it goes on a showcase page you can share with pride. A child who is seen is a child the next right opportunity finds.
Where it lives
- 1Achievements, in the bar at the bottom.
- 2Certificates, Strengths and Showcase, at the top. They appear with the first certificate.
- 3Add certificate, always first in the list.
- 4A certificate, in its gold frame. Share sends a recognition card on WhatsApp. The folded hands count its blessings in the Circle.
1.What one certificate gives you
- 1One certificate, photographed once. WiWit reads it and keeps it.
- 2Strengths: the areas your child's certificates point to.
- 3Showcase: one page with everything your child has achieved, shared when you choose.
Any certificate counts: sports, music, art, dance, olympiad, spell bee, participation, volunteering, a course. If it has your child's name on it, it counts.
2.Add a certificate
Photograph it
Tap Add certificate. Hold the camera above it, or upload a photo from your gallery. Flat, in good light, all four corners in.
Wit reads it
The title, who issued it, the date, the level and the Skills spotted are filled in for you.
Check, then save
Fix the title if it read wrong. Choose who sees its Circle post. Tap Save certificate.
- 1The title, as Wit read it. Tap to correct it.
- 2Skills spotted: what the certificate shows your child did.
- 3The Circle post, written for you. Tap to reword it, and choose Everyone, Connections or Just me.
- 4Save certificate.
Tap a certificate later to Edit any detail, Share it, or Delete it.
3.Strengths
- 1Eight areas, from words and numbers to sports, music and people. The shape grows with each certificate.
- 2The strongest area today, and how many certificates it rests on.
- 3Each area lists the certificates behind it. Built only from what you add.
4.The showcase
One page, at a link you can send, that anyone can open without the app. This is what they see:
- 1Your child's name and grade, Recognized by WiWit.
- 2The certificates you chose, in your order.
- 3Share, for whoever is looking.
- To make it: open Showcase, tap Create, untick any certificate you would rather not show, and tap Create showcase. Then Share sends the link.
- The gear on the Showcase tab opens Showcase Visibility: one switch. Off, and the link stops opening at once. The same screen adds or removes certificates.
Frequently asked questions
The scan read the wrong title.
Tap the title on the review card and correct it before you save. Later, open the certificate and tap Edit.
Who can see my child's certificates?
The certificate itself is yours. Its Circle post is shown to Everyone unless you choose Connections or Just me when you save it, or later under Sharing settings. The showcase is a separate page: anyone with the link can see it from the moment you create it, and one switch makes it private again.
Does the showcase show my child's full name?
Yes. The showcase is a page you chose to publish, and it carries your child's name and grade. Keep it private if you would rather not share it.
Can I delete a certificate?
Yes. Open it, tap the three dots, then Delete. Its Circle post goes too, and the strengths and the showcase update on their own.
