Circle, in WiWit

Other parents are the best guide to what is worth it. In the Circle you ask them, answer them, and see what they are celebrating for their children. You choose who sees what you post, and other parents see your children only by grade until you connect.

Where it lives

  1. 1Circle, in the bar at the bottom.
  2. 2Feed and Connections, at the top.
  3. 3What parents are celebrating: certificates other parents added. Tap one to see it and Bless it.
  4. 4Ask a question.
  5. 5A question from another parent. Answer it, or send some love.
  6. 6Find parents, by mobile number.

1.Ask a question

  1. 1Your question, in your words.
  2. 2Who sees it: Everyone, Connections or Just me. Everyone is the usual choice, so any parent can answer.
  3. 3Ask.

Your name, your city and your children's grades go with every question. Their names do not.

2.Answer and react

  1. 1Who is asking: the parent's name, and Parent of 5th Grade with the city.
  2. 2Like or Love. A double tap sends love too.
  3. 3Answer: share what you know.
  4. 4The three dots: Copy text, or Report post.

3.Connect with a parent you know

A connection is a parent you know. Connections see your children's names, and posts you set to Connections.

  1. 1Enter 10-digit mobile number: the number the parent uses on WiWit.
  2. 2Tap Connect. The parent gets a notification.
  3. 3A request that came to you, under Connection requests. Tick to accept, cross to decline.

To stop being found by your number, open Settings, then Privacy, and switch off Findable by Phone Number.

4.Who sees what

  • Any parent on WiWit sees your name, your city, and your children as grades. Your connections see the names too.
  • Each question and each certificate post has its own setting: Everyone, Connections or Just me. Change it any time under Sharing settings.
  • Tap the circle at the top right, then My Profile, then View profile as others to see exactly what another parent sees.

5.Block and report

  • Block: on a parent's profile, tap the three dots, then Block. The blocked parent cannot find your profile or your posts, and you no longer see that parent's posts. No one is told. Undo it under Settings, Blocked Accounts.
  • Report: the three dots on a post, a comment or a profile. Pick a reason and tap Submit report. The rules are the Circle Guidelines.

Frequently asked questions

Can I post a photo?

A question is text. Pictures come from certificates: add one under Achievements, and it appears in the Circle with its picture, for whoever you chose.

Can I message a parent directly?

No. The Circle has questions, answers and reactions, in the open. There are no private messages.

Can I find a parent by name?

No, by mobile number only. Ask the parent for the number used on WiWit, or send the app with Invite parents to WiWit.

I want to delete what I posted.

Tap the three dots on the post, then Delete. A certificate's post goes with its certificate: delete the certificate under Achievements, or hide the post with Sharing settings.
